1970 in Greece

It was the time of the crude military regime, the so-called Obrist government in Athens, led by a narcissistic colonel Georgios Papadopoulos. With the help of the USA, a small clique had put itself in power.

With the Greeks, the system was called only the junta (Η Χούντα). Greece did not come to rest. Two decades had passed since the civil war, which had demanded a high toll of blood. Not to mention World War II, in which Greece suffered under Nazi occupation.

Communists had nothing to laugh. While the regime of the colonels in the 1970s; they were systematically persecuted and sent in camps. Intellectuals who rebelled against the dictatorship were murdered. The stories of the survivors speak of torture and hunger and thirst. It was only a German journalist, Fred Ihrt, who flew over Gyaros and brought pictures with him, who triggered the international protest.

The pressure on the right-wing junta bore fruit; many prisoners were freed in the following month. Mikis Theodorakis is one of those who fought against the dictatorship in Greece and rightfully became a hero of two generations.
Many Greeks left the country as guest workers for other European countries and went into exile.

Other Europeans formed travel groups who travelled through Greece in buses, with camping trailers (Rotel). Probably they did not understand the drama of the situation at that time. Otherwise, this trips to ancient sites in times cannot be explained today.

From this time, these photos are preserved, which show a seemingly untouched holiday country. Greece was not yet developed as a tourist destination, only islands, and this meant Crete and Corfu.

Most of the time, these vehicles travelled via the former Yugoslavia, to later make a kind of round trip to the most beautiful places in Greece.

The village life of the people in Greece was at that time animated by an unbelievable hardness. In the cities, the general motorization and gradual technological development began, which first affected Athens and then Thessaloniki.

When Saint Petersburg was called Leningrad - 1970 (1)

Today the Soviet Union is forgotten, a terrible construct from history. From this time originate the photographs, which are certainly a rarity and are otherwise only usually preserved in the form of postcards. These recordings have been post-processed and were preserved as slides on Orwo negatives.

In these days there was the supposedly so happy Soviet man, who strolled along the magnificent boulevards of the capital of the revolution of 1917. Nobody was really happy in the Communism experiment, but the culture was abundantly provided for.

Leningrad was a city rich in history. To each era. Leningrad has always been a place of culture and international understanding, whether during the time of the tsar or the communists.

And a city with countless problems. The pollution of the environment reached extraordinary levels. There was more and more resistance against the all-powerful Communistic Party.

Finland Leningrad Station,1970, kasaan media, 2020

Much of the cultural heritage had been destroyed during the siege of the German Wehrmacht in 1941.

Now, 30 years after the war, when these pictures were taken, the shock of what had happened in the more than 1000-day blockade of Leningrad was still deep. The generation of those who had experienced the days of famine kept the memory of the Great Patriotic War alive.

Battlecruiser Aurora, Leningrad 1970, kasaan media, 2020

The all-determining personality cult around Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, called Lenin, took on grotesque characteristics.

Like a fetish, the places of activity that had led to the Russian Revolution were presented.

As in every dictatorship, the heroic deeds of the Russian Revolution were fed by rumours and

Legends that had undoubtedly led to another totalitarian state, the Soviet Union. Lenin was certainly not the saviour who freed the people of Saint Petersburg from bondage, as it was called at the time of the Tsar. On the contrary.

Study-Lenins, kasaan media, 2020

The ordinary Soviet man lived in fear and in long queues due to the supply shortages in the country. The then ruling Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, who ruled with a form of concrete-head communism, was never able to get food shortages under control. Only the Politburo and the functionaries were living in havoc.

Back in the summer of 1955

Still dreaming

Something extraordinary for the new year. A journey through time of the remarkable kind. It is the year 1955, or more precisely the summer of 1955, when Cornelia (Conny) Froboess toothed the German hit of the years "Pack die Badehose ein". Aunt Erna, already known to us, took it literally, took her partner and a couple of friends and drove to the Côte d'Azur.

Then on to the Italian Riviera.

Sailing 1954, Berlin Wannsee, kasaan media, 2019

Aunt Erna probably had enough of the Wannsee bath and the sailing boat from the war years in Berlin. One year after the events in Berne, winning the World Cup they went to South of France. There are also pictures from Austria that month. Probably in June 1955, because from July 1, 1955, the black license plates became invalid. Today you have to be astonished because the journey across the Alps required courage. The roads were not as developed as decades later. They went via Austria with the camping trailer over the Alps to Italy. In this camping trailer was everything you needed for a holiday at that time. It was the longing of those days, also due to the music of the time, for palm trees and Bella Italia. For warmth and southern flair. Afterwards, one wanted to go to the coast to Monaco and further on to a camping site that was located near Mandelieu-la-Napoule. Along the Massif de l'Esterel. The Berliners photographed even rocks because they were so strange for them in those days.

It was undoubtedly the reward for the lean years that the National Socialist dictatorship under Hitler had also left behind in Germany. The Nazi era had also demanded unprecedented sacrifices from the Germans. The Airlift period, as well as the division of the city, had taken a further toll. What has survived are pictures that are 65 years old, which are no longer perfect, but reflect the colour of the time.  Many things can no longer be reconstructed on the Agfa's, but they still show the joy of those who at that time went on the much longed-for holidays to the south.
It was long before mass tourism, just with a trailer and VW Beetle convertible.

Outrageous images from NASA - which completely turn our understanding of the moon upside down

Disturbing images of the moon

As you can easily see in this article, it is not the moon we know. Up in the sky, it has shone at night for as long as anyone can remember.

Now NASA had pictures in its archives for years, which were only partially released. Martin van Vuuren has made clips from them for youtube that speak their language. Plus stories of Whistler blowers who were supposedly already on-site, even further on Mars and beyond. Van Vuuren dedicated for years to this task of analytically processing the images of the moon and putting them on his youtube channel.

Well, what's there?

The images in the clips speak volumes about what NASA has not shared with humankind. The US space agency is not communicative on precise questions anyway. In press inquiries, they refuse to explain the structures visible on the moon. Whatever that could or should be.

No one can say whether the Whistle-Blowers are telling the truth, or whether the facts are correct at all--but why would ordinary people tell such stories if these people were not otherwise conspicuous by madness. Even more absurd is the fact that NASA took the pictures decades ago and a lot of Whistler-Blowers come from the NASA environment.

Even Martin van Vuuren doesn't believe in a conspiracy, but what can be seen in the pictures then. It is certainly no illusion if you can see tubes or parts of buildings.

Nevertheless, it would be a simple procedure for NASA to say: "Yes, we don't know what it is, we'll take care of it!"

Nevertheless, the old theory of pareidolia is consistently applied, and the illusion cultivated in order not to have to answer the questions arising from NASA's images.

Anyone can form his or her image by looking at the photos and thinking about what it might be.

The peasants’ protests continue with rallies – this time the Mercosur agreement

What’s going on with the farmers?

There will be another rally today. The tractors are rolling. So does that one of Susanne Strätker again, whom we have accompanied in the numerous episodes about the farmers’ displeasure since the beginning.

For months now, there have been repeated tractor demonstrations in which they make known their justified concerns. The situation is already alarming. The domestic dying out of farms will continue, although the farmers, too, for their part, stand up for the climate goals. The insanity of these days, made from the green table in ministries, is the Mercosur agreement.

Nobody seems to have thought the chain through. However, goals are set for domestic agriculture that no one can meet. The farmers are literally crushed by the flood of regulations.
Not only that with the EU-Latin America agreement, e.g. the neo-fascist Jair Bolsonaro and his corrupt environment from the EU can also achieve trade surpluses – no- but the domestic farm dying also becomes a compulsory programme.

While in Latin America other political foundations certainly not EU climate targets apply, in the future farmers will have to compete against the enemy in Brussels.

The Mercosur Agreement is an intolerable situation anyway, which, on the surface, initially offers more freedom in trade. Only on closer inspection are the consequences for consumers and farmers frightening. For in addition to the difference between laws in Latin America and Europe, there is the fact that no species-appropriate animal husbandry, senseless deforestation and slash-and-burn clearing of the rainforests to achieve higher profits, hormone-treated animals to make them grow faster, chlorine-treated chickens to keep them germ-free, etc., will be the order of the day.
How this is to be in line with the countless regulations on climate target policy is not understood by anyone involved in agriculture.

But Brussels and Berlin once put a trade agreement in place. Politicians cannot explain the treaties, nobody wants to talk about mediation any more. An entire professional group is being made the scapegoat for wrong policies.

The farmers have a direct concern: agricultural goods should be bought in the region so that they serve the climate goals and not distort competition and thus serve the regional farm dying alone.

Hymn to Europe

Europe means progress, freedom, development, security and peace.

Only such a form of government can be chosen. Everything else is ineligible.

Democracy is a challenging field that requires daily care. This care and nurturing have been neglected.

Europe carries the traditions in the development of the future and should become a central state in which the nations find their weighty voice. How the United States of America once had to grow together.

Everyone who is anchored in Europe contributes something to the big picture. Politics is not infallible. Only ideologies are not desirable. The enemy of democracy has taken a firm grip on Europe in its field.

The EU must be reformed, Macron has recognised this very clearly and precisely. Europe cannot and will not afford an autocratic nuance.

This is by no means an easy task. Many mistakes were made. One of them: Jean-Claude Juncker invited large corporations, which were downright offending consumers and also the state system. The euro came a few years too early as a common currency but continued to ensure Europe's economic success.

After the experience of World War II, nation-states joined together to form a pan-European house, a community of those who, after the knowledge of the wars, now saw that it was only possible to do it together. Adenauer and de Gaulle understood the call of the times. There were no longer enemies, but neighbours.

In the unfortunate video of Rezo and his thoughts, history, which laid the foundation for European politics, was never mentioned. It was the protest video of a politically ignorant "snotty guy" who earns quite a bit of money on youtube when he posts such productions that the "No Future" generation loves.

In their wishful thinking to create a step-by-step society again, the nationalists see the election as the last chance to reorganise their old rotten world view.

What nationalism means can be seen in the inglorious example of Mr Strache and his Adlatus in the villa on Ibiza. Nationalism is the shame of the world. Such parties should be subject to a ban since they are probably defined by corruption and inhuman world views.

Now nationalists, like their left-wing political opponents, can polarise.

This polarisation grows more and more every day. This is what the right-wing dregs speculate on, as always in history.

A Democrat is forbidden to believe in what the speculators of division expect from their future. Their only aim is to enslave the people so that they may prosper, see Strache and his companions.

The left-wing mob showed its real face in Hamburg two years ago, namely anarchy and looting, rebellion against everything that developed in decades of system.

It is up to the voter to eliminate any possibility of polarisation. Through the voice, which is as valuable individually as it is in the crowd. This strengthens democratic forces, which now have to take massive action.

To choose Angela Merkel out of hatred for the person Angela Merkel is the wrong direction. In autumn 2015, she did not act politically, but humanely, which may be blamed on her.

The chaos in which nationalism ends can be seen in Great Britain, which is destroying itself because there are money-hungry and short-term thinking forces that certainly pay well for their convictions. These are not their convictions, but the profit of the gang around Farage and Johnson is in the foreground of the "putsch" against the at times confusing sounding Theresa May.

Who wants such governments? Nobody. A state would dissolve if, as we can see, such people came into office and dignity.

Democracy, civil rights and freedoms no longer count for anything among nationalists. Minorities would be mercilessly persecuted, with the hatred of any dictatorship.

No one wants such eternalists who are not able to foresee the consequences of their actions. Declaring Europe a fortress contradicts the fundamental values of what Europe wants to be and can be, an open society in which neither borders nor obstacles are raised.

Those who are against it are only looking for their own transparent reason.

Who chooses, everyone should choose freedom, and what conscience suggests. But everyone should also think about the future of all in a united and prosperous Europe.

The discovery of human bones near Trier on the Moselle raises many questions

Uncanny find

At the beginning of December 2019, a hunting party found bones near Trier, in a wooded area near Palzem, which had been lying there in impassable terrain for several years. A hunter had found the bones, which could be attributed to a skeletonized human corpse and informed the police. Because of the terrain, the police appeared at the same time as the fire brigade, which helped to recover the remains.

Who the dead man or woman is, cannot be said at this stage of the investigation. However, no person matching the forensic scientist's description has been reported missing.

A police spokesman, however, explained that a Finnish identity card of a woman was found next to the place where the body was disposed of. Also, the remains of clothing were found that were associated with the body.

The police were also unable to provide any information about the circumstances of death or how the bones got into the forest, or the body. Palzem is located between Trier and the Luxembourg border on the Moselle, just north of the French border in the border triangle.
The remains of the body were taken to the forensic department.

Anyone who can provide information about the unknown deceased or knows anything about the circumstances has made observations, should contact their local police station.

Emotet via USPS

Big birds

USPS is the United States Postal Service.

A government agency in the USA, usually the postal service of the USA.

USPS - there you are used to the sorrowing because the mails of the postal authority in the USA can be forged excellently, here are for starting points for phishing and scamming. Now also for the transmission of Emotet, the modern digital plague. This time in the shape of USPS ticket #8552, which is supposedly created by the potential customers and is a fake. A complete fake.

Don't open it!!!

Move the mail into the digital trashcan. Delete it there.

Wide range of "possible uses"

If one had otherwise come across gambling via USPS link, it is now one of the most insidious software tricks of the digital world at the start. Sometimes even utterly insane compensation payments that encourage citizens to open the links. Or legacies in the millions, which are reported via USPS. Or groups of perpetrators try to redirect packages that exist to themselves or their accomplices. A mask, which as real in computer graphics, too confusingly similar. The credit card number is then "picked up" at the same time. The credit card is required incidentally in the process. The delivery costs the recipient will pay. The methods of the digital underground are sophisticated and hardly understandable to the layman.

Allegedly USPS would already be aware of the problems caused by their mails. But now the problem is more serious, with a rather skilful email, it is pretended that it is about a message. If you don't look closely, you'll fall for it. Thousands of these mails are currently in the circulation. Behind it is Emotet, the encryption virus. If you click, you may lose your data forever, unless you have backed it up externally. The sender is a condondufour of an Italian internet platform. There is probably a forwarding here.  Nobody should believe that the senders or backers will release the account when payment is made.

Those who pay will later wait in vain for their data to be released. And on top of that, the is data off forever. One should only react to blackmail with a report to the police, but not to the perpetrators.
